Simeone Scaramozzino
Simeone Scaramozzino is an XR director–producer, neuroaesthetic artist, and trauma-informed somatic practitioner working at the intersection of immersive technology, nervous system regulation, and participatory design. He facilitates regulated, consent-based experiences that bridge art, technology, and human regulation, creating immersive environments that support presence, self-regulation, and prosocial engagement through carefully paced, embodied interaction.
He is the creator of Totems of Hope – Your Brain on Immersive Philanthropy, a modular neuroaesthetic XR installation that integrates symbolic interaction, spatial sequencing, and non-invasive neurofeedback tools, including Enophone brain-sensing technology, to explore how embodied experiences may support attentional focus and autonomic nervous system regulation
His previous work includes directing the Immersive Virtual Temple trilogy for the Burning Man Project and developing large-scale poetic XR performances exploring memory, ecology, and collective reflection, including a water-centred immersive work scored by Ryuichi Sakamoto. Across these projects, he designs environments that prioritise regulation, agency, and embodied meaning over spectacle.
Alongside his technological work, Simeone leads small-group, trauma-informed programmes focused on contemplative practice, nervous system regulation, and self-leadership, developed in close relationship with Amazonian Shipibo-Konibo communities. His qualifications include advanced certification in Somatic Experiencing®, a 500-hour yoga and meditation certification completed in India, and prior executive experience working with Fortune 500 organisations.
