Rodney Fry

John Brown University

Rodney A. Fry, MA, MDIV, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and technology-assisted counseling. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas, and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Rodney is currently pursuing his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Regent University.

Originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas, Rodney is married and the father of six children. He works with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, groups, and families, and is especially passionate about helping children and adolescents heal from trauma. In addition to his work in the United States, Rodney is actively involved in trauma-informed counseling and therapeutic support with children and adolescents in Ukraine.

Rodney understands that life’s challenges can feel overwhelming and that taking the first step toward counseling is often the hardest. He is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. His goal is to walk alongside each person as they navigate obstacles, foster healing, and move toward living with greater hope, resilience, and purpose.
