Remco Hoogendijk
Remco Hoogendijk (1970) is Innovation Manager at the Sint Maartenskliniek (NL) is engaged in identifying, introducing and implementing exponential techniques in healthcare. Such as eXtended Reality, Sensor Tech, Serious Gaming, Robotics, 3D printing and Artificial Intelligence.
After studying business economics at Radboud University, he worked in various positions on the implementation of complex innovation processes in healthcare.
In 2022 he was one of the founders of the XR4REHAB Collaboration & Innovation Network. He is the current chairman of the XR4REHAB.
He is the lead partner of an EU funded programme (totaling over 12M USD) with 12 partners in 6 countries called SCALE-UP4REHAB which focuses on the large scale implementation of digital therapeutics and especially XR.
Since 2016 Remco has initiated a broad variety of VR and XR initiatives throughout the Sint Maartenskliniek and has great stories to tell about the findings and lessons learned in clinical implementation.
Remco is an optimist and in his talk he will share his vision on a Scaled Up and thriving XR landscape in healthcare.
