Jeah Kim is a biomedical communicator who merges scientific accuracy, creative storytelling, and
cutting-edge technology to make science more accessible, meaningful, and inspiring. Her work spans
journal figures, animations, and interactive XR experiences, all driven by a passion for making complex science accessible and engaging.

With experience at a global pharmaceutical company managing clinical studies, as well as close collaboration with surgeons at Samsung Medical Center, she was inspired to pursue visual communication in the medical field. This motivation led her to graduate studies in the Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto. There, she developed an interactive training app for physiotherapists, gaining experience in the full process of creating a mobile application, from studying user needs to designing and delivering a functional product.

Her exploration of Unity and work on several AR/VR projects sparked a deep interest in storytelling
through emerging technologies. Thes interest led to an internship at the University of Texas MD Anderson
Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where she was able to work in a collaborative research team on a 6-minute walk test in VR for adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.
