Anthony J. Fuentes
Anthony Fuentes is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, and now a 3rd year M.D./M.P.H. candidate at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with interests in surgery, public health systems, and healthcare technology. He is a co-founder of the Rapid Access Wellness (RAW) Clinic, a student-run initiative at the UM Miller School of Medicine addressing gaps in sexual health and HIV care through scalable, low-resource clinical workflows. His academic work spans endocrine surgery outcomes, health disparities, and the application of artificial intelligence and imaging technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy and procedural consistency. Clinically, he thrives in surgical environments that integrate technical precision, teamwork, and real-time problem solving. Anthony is committed to inclusive care and aims to leverage emerging technologies, including virtual reality, to improve training, access, and healthcare delivery at scale.
